a new drink

on the monday night, i was at my neighbourhood 7-11 hunting for a drink to quench my thirst. this cool purplish packet drink in the cooler caught my attention. i took a closer look and realised it is the taro flavoured vitasoy drink. for those who don't know what vitasoy is, it is basically some soya drink from hong kong. i kinda like it since secondary school days. i was surprised to see this flavour. i know there melon, chocolate and the orginial flavour ard in the sg market but didnt know the taro flavour exist.

anyway, this was my first time seeing this flavour around in Singapore. after a closer examination of the packet, i realised there was n't any " new " label on it. i supposed it has come out for quite some time and i didn't notice it at all. maybe some kind soul out there can provide me with some information about this new flavour.

i decided to give it a try. i like the nice taro smell and the color of the drink. cool. howver, after taking a sip or two, i realised it is a little plain. u cant really taste the taro flavour in the drink. i will surely prefer the original or the melon flavour to taro. i like the fact that this drink isn't that sweet. it isnt that bad to drink after all. i will say it is a good attempt to inject a new flavour into the market. maybe those who really like vita soy or its cool purplish package like me can can give it a try.
