the trees outside sheares hall and kent ridge were in bloom last week. it was a beautiful sight as one could see the trees blooming with flowers from a far distance. however, as the flowers grew older day by day, their best would soon be dwindle in the past.
i walked past the trees after a late morning shower today. indeed, the past was already here. the flowers were falling onto the ground. the once beautiful flowers on the crown of the trees were scattered everywhere. they continued to form a magnificent scene for everyone even in the last stage of their bloom.
and i wonder when will it stir us the most? when the flowers bloom or when the flowers fall..
when flowers fall, no one will grieve for them and probably when flowers bloom, no one is there to enjoy them. is there anyone ever slow their pace to enjoy these flowers along this road. if their purpose is to bloom for us to admire, then it will be a sad ending for them...

I would never have imagine there is a soft side to you, or at least it is what these photographs of flowers telling me. I like capturing snapshots of fallen leaves and flowers by the roadside too. When the trees are in full bloom, there is a quiet joy and peace inside my heart. Hope you will take care of yourself... I'm sure you will. :)
